The Japanese Ophthalmological Society (JOA) is a registered Public Interest Incorporated Foundation. The very first objective of the JOA is to guarantee the high level of clinical ophthalmology in Japan and, thereby the health of the population. The JOA promotes Ophthalmologic research with the aim of contributing to the advancement of Ophthalmological knowledge.
